Preface

i tried writing this shit six times what is wrong with me

i've resigned myself to it being half formal half rambley and yeah

Prologue

I don't consider myself particularly good at anything. Not art, music, writing, et cetera. Why, then, did I decide to solo a project that requires all of these and more?

Because I am possessed by an evil spirit that can only be quelled by the act of creation.

Process

Of the 6 weeks allotted, almost half of it was spent on the defining the plot.

I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going.

Eventually I settled on a combo of "woman who does strange services" and "bomb-collared girl needs to make VN".

Even then, I still couldn't get the story to work. I'd write different scenes, but nothing clicked.

That was until I ha

sorry it's just really embarrassing to admit that a vid with less than 1000 views is what got me to actually start writing

but yeah. that was when i picked out all the important scenes and then thought "ok what goes between them" and then i actually got shit done

i started it with a screenplay, which became a twine, which turned into renpy. story went through a few changes, mostly internal monologue from regina.

Pride

I got A Thing done before its deadline, so I'm winning in some regard. 

I like the story that it ended up as. Maybe there could be some little tweaks, but I did what I set out to do: have two girls who get into a fucked up thing, realize they don't want that, and try to be better.

Passable

Sound was mostly effects from pixabay and Loyalty Freak Music. My life is indebted to Rrrrrose Azerty.

Pain

art sucks like hshit i waish i was picasso

a rational version of myself would be like "yeah. of course. you don't know a  lot so it's gonna feel off" but like. i at least wanted to be good at editing the pics. like i don't like how when i show an image for a scene it has a hard border over the background like how do i change that

Possibilities

i was trying to do Themes with the characters that i feel got left out in the final version

the great news is that i can simply Make More Things and then put the themes in there

i really don't know what i'd do differently if i wanted to make something like this (of this scale again) cuz i feel like i tried my best every step of the way

i think outside of the project itself i just wanna be more active in communities? but idk how to do that?? like i just stumbled into an atelier school nervously holding a binder of crayon drawings hoping they don't kick me out
